Medical Laboratory Technology is an Allied Health /paramedical Profession, which is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease through the use of clinical laboratory tests. The programme covers the basics of preclinical subjects such as Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology and Blood Banking. Medical Laboratory Technologists(MLT) do these tests by analyzing body fluids ,tissues, blood typing, microorganisam screening, chemical analyses, cell counts of human body etc.
The course consists of the following three subject:
>> Biochemistry
>> Histopathology, Blood Banking and Hematology
>> Microbiology and Parasitology
An examination will be conducted at the end of the course, Paper(i) Biochemistry, Paper(ii) Microbiology & Parasitology, Paper(iii) Pathology, with written viva and practical tests. A minimum of 50% marks in each of the above three subjects is required for a pass.

Diploma in Radiodiagnosis & Radiotherapy Technology is an Allied Health/Paramedical profession which is concerned with the diagnostic, treatment, therapeutic and Research purpose in medical practices by the use of ionizing radiation, Ultrasound, CT & MRI. The program prepares you, under the direction of Radiologist and Radiation Oncologist, to work in the Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging & Department of Radiotherapy.The course consists of three parts.
>> Part I (1st year) consists of (i) General and Radiation Physics (ii) Anatomy (iii) Physiology and Pathology
>> Part II (2ndyear) consists of (i) Physics of Medical imaging and Radiotherapy and (ii) Radiography Techniques (iii) Basics of Radiotherapy.
>> Part III (3rdyear) consists of (i) Radiation Safety in Radiodiagnosis & Radiotherapy, (ii) Advanced Medical Imaging Technology. (iii) Advanced Radiotherapy.
There will be an examination at the end of Part I, Part II and Part III with written, viva and practical tests. A minimum of 50% marks in each of the subjects is required for a pass.

(iv) Anatomy
(v) Computer
At the end of second year there will be an examination consisting of 3 papers:
(i) Dialysis Machine Maintenance
(ii) Types & Varieties of Haemodialysis & Kidney Transplantation Technology
(iii) Therapies &Indications
Course Duration: 2 Years.
