The facilities are available on all working days except Sundays and public holidays, from 8.00am to 4.00pm Patient centered service is the goal of our outpatient facility. We provide timely and structured treatment for each patient attending our OP.

The In-patient facility is managed by efficient Nursing staff, who are trained working together with experienced doctors providing holistic treatment to individual patients.

Dedicated critical care is offered to sick patients, and the doctors are skillful enough to predict worsening of their pre-existing medical conditions with advanced evaluation and monitoring tools.

 By enhancing function, independence, well-being, comfort, and quality of life, the department assists elderly persons in leading healthy, productive lives.

 As a part of the commitment towards the society, the mission of the General Medicine department is to reach out to those who do not have access to regular medical care, and provide them with the necessary medical attention, in order to promote their health and wellbeing.

The department also offers a variety of specialized clinics and services to address specific medical conditions such as Critical Care, Geriatrics, Diabetes Clinic etc.

A well-structured teaching program for Undergraduates (UG) and Post-graduate (PG) students is a unique strength of the department and is among the best. Apart from theory classes, the 100 Undergraduates who enter the clinical side every year from the third semester onwards are rotated in various units for system-based learning, to develop sound communication skills, and capacity building to manage common medical disorders.
The Post Graduate teaching program started in 2011 with 2 seats per year, which has now increased to 6 seats per year, since 2021. PG teaching focuses on imparting clinical skills, hands-on experience in managing a variety of complex and critical cases under the close supervision of the faculty.
Emphasis is laid on practice of evidence-based medicine through seminars, topic reviews, and presentations in the journal club.

The medical camp includes a team of healthcare professionals consisting of doctors, nurses, and support staff who provide basic healthcare services, including the drugs, free of charge.
