Rural Medical Mission


As a part of Community Health Programme, and also to train the Medical students in community work, Amala has started Urban Medical Centre at Patturaickal, and Rural Medical Centres at Mullassery and Azhikode. Medical camps are conducted regularly under the aegis of these Centres.


Amala Fellowship


Amala Fellowship is a voluntary non-profit organization for the promotion of the welfare of cancer patients who seek aid from Amala. At present there are 780 fellows and 27 active units. Mainly Cancer awareness classes are conducted. For educating the general public residing in remote areas about the devastating disease - Cancer - at the grass root level. Cancer detection campus are organized and Preventive steps are taken.


Abba Charitable Society


It was started for promoting the welfare of the poor people of adjacent panchayaths ( Adat & Kaiparambu ) by undertaking service programmes. Activities of the society include the following:

Weekly distribution of rice to the poor
Financial assistance to families below the poverty line.

Distribution of thatch to the poor during monsoon

Aid for housing, education and marriage
Distribution of books to the poor students
Distribution of medicine to home-bound patients

Bethany Gram

A venture to serve the senior citizens by providing them a comfortable home, good food, recreational facilities, spiritual support, medical care and, above all, personal attention.
