Amala Institute of Medical Sciences is the Home for Total Healing and Nurturing Ground for quality medical professionals. Amala wants to nurture a family ambience and culture with a concept of 'Caring beyond the hospital' through the process of patient engagement and public involvement. Being run by CMI congregation founded by Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, Amala wants to translate his vision of building God's kingdom on our campus. Along with quality patient care at affordable rates, we want to develop medical professionals with an Amala touch with a genuine social commitment and a special concern for the poor. From the very beginning in 1978, we have been blessed by the participation and support of the public, benefactors, staff and students. May our Lady's intercession grant us the strength to serve God in the sick.
